SISTERHOOD OF THE WORLD BLOGGERS AWARD

This post should have been put up last week but i was very busy with school work and so couldn’t set it up.

Either way, I’m so much excited..

This cute Ugandan girl whose name sounds like and is actually spelt like a name in my local dialect;my very good blogger friend, Atim nominated small me for this great humongous award…

YAY!!!

BLOG

I thank you Atim for nominating me for this award..

Atim is a naturalista who blogs about lifestyle, her thoughts and a bit of everything at Atim’s Thoughts

The rules for this post are:
1. Display the Award’s Logo on your blog.
2. Thank the blogger who nominated you,
and mention them in a link that easily
links them back to their own site.
3. Answer ten questions asked by the
blogger who nominated you
4. Nominate ten other bloggers and
inform them about the nomination.
5. Ask them ten questions of your choice.

These are the questions she asked me;
1. Are you a feminist? Do you think
feminism is overrated?
2. Career woman or stay at home mum?
3. What is love to you?
4. Natural hair is the new black among
African women these days, with a lot of
ladies transitioning from relaxed to
natural and also, ladies who had natural
hair before taking more interest in it
because they realize how versatile their
hair is.
However, some people say it is just a
trend that will eventually wither away like
many other trends.
What is your opinion about this?
5. What is a perfect day to you?
6. What is your typical everyday outfit?
7. Females friends or male friends, which
do you prefer? Why?.
8. What animal best describes you?
9. How do you like your personal space
arranged? (Your house, if you have a
house, or your room, or whatever place
you consider your personal space)
10. Any five most important lessons life
has taught you so far? Share..

So far, I’m done with the first two questions and now i have to answer the 10 solid 😀 questions she set up for me…

  1. Are you a feminist? Do you think feminism is overrated?

Yes, I am a feminist. I don’t think feminism is overrated because women’s rights have been so overlooked and trampled on the times past to the point that men began to see women as sex objects, maids and this limited women to kitchens. But now, women have to fight for their rights and speak up for themselves in order to fully participate in and become fully use to the society in positive ways. I think every woman should be a feminist!

2. Career woman or stay at home mum?

Career woman for life.. lol 😀

3. What is love to you?

Love is a feeling of affection towards a person and most times, this feeling is always mutual. Love can be defined in many aspects depending on who is loving who and whether the love is mutual or not. To some, love is magical while for others, its practical and real.

To me, Love is the ability to give up yourself totally and completely for another person. And that’s what Jesus did when he died for us on Calvary’s tree 🙂

4. Natural hair is the new black among African women these days, with a lot of ladies transitioning from relaxed to natural and also, ladies who had natural hair before taking more interest in it because they realize how versatile their hair is.
However, some people say it is just a trend that will eventually wither away likemany other trends.
What is your opinion about this?

I don’t see natural hair as a trend, I see it as realization. You know, many ladies have come to this realization that their natural hair can do without relaxers. Everything we do is all about determination and if you are a determined person,it will affect all your choices, even the choice to carry your hair naturally. 😀

5. What is a perfect day to you?

Every is to be deemed perfect because no one can know what each day holds in store for them.

6. What is your typical everyday outfit?

I love wearing gowns yes, but most times,on a casual school day i wear Jeans with a top or shirt.

7. Females friends or male friends, which
do you prefer? Why?

I prefer male friends to female friends and i have a lot of them and this is because boys don’t compete with girls…do they? Lol.. i have a few female friends sha!

8. What animal best describes you?

Ummm… A bird, a cat, a… Honestly…i don’t know. 😀

9. How do you like your personal space
arranged? (Your house, if you have a
house, or your room, or whatever place
you consider your personal space)

I like my room arranged neatly.

10. Any five most important lessons life
has taught you so far? Share..

  1. Look before you leap.
  2. Talk less,hear more.
  3.  Bad friends corrupt good manners.
  4.  If you have anything to do,give it your very best because there are a lot others who have nothing to do.
  5.  In everything you do, put GOD FIRST!

Phew! I just finished answering all those questions.

Now, i have decided to nominate these 10 wonderful bloggers for this award;

  1.  Ekene and Meemee of The Kink and I
  2.  Islandkynks
  3.  Chinwe Juliet of Igbocurls

  6. NaturaleeKiki
  7. KongoMum
  8. Nafisah of Coily Head of Hair
  9. Grace of Shanyitots
  10. Africanism Cosmopolitan

  1.  What does God mean to you?
  2. If given the opportunity, would you like to go into politics in your country? Why?
  3. If you have a daughter who is of age, would you let her relax her natural hair? Why?
  4. Which measure do you think is best in correcting a child? Whipping or Advising?
  5. So many naturals assume that Protective styles help to grow hair speedily? Is this true?
  6. Should natural  hair be trimmed as often as possible? Whether there are split ends or not,to enhance growth?

  9.  As a lady,do you think it is right to propose marriage to a man? Why?
  10. What sex do you want your first baby to be? Why?
